In 1976, Boney M. had their first international smash hit with Daddy Cool. Fifty years later, it’s time to relive these iconic disco sounds in an energetic live show packed with nostalgia, glitter, and pure seventies vibes.
Daddy Cool Turns 50 is a tribute to the golden age of disco. A strong live band and three outstanding vocalists bring the music of Boney M. and master producer Frank Farian fully to life on stage. Classics such as Ma Baker, Rasputin, Rivers of Babylon, Sunny, and Daddy Cool follow one another at full speed.
Although these songs were immensely popular in the 1970s and 1980s, they have rarely been performed live. This show is set to change all that: for the first time, Farian’s iconic hits will be performed live exactly as they were intended – energetic, musical and uncompromising.
2026 marks 50 years of Boney M. and the lasting influence of Frank Farian, including successes such as Eruption, La Bouche, and the controversial Milli Vanilli.

Nigel is the soul brother of Daddy Cool Turns 50! He appeared on Idols and The Voice of Holland, and portrayed Mufasa in The Lion King. As the frontman of Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band The Chicago Funk, he knows exactly how to get a crowd dancing. His voice, his moves: pure vintage funk & disco energy!
Claudia Wagenmakers
Lead vocals
Claudia is pure power and a versatile vocal talent. She starred in the theatre production The Soul of Motown and worked with artists such as René Froger and Alain Clark. With her own Tina Turner tribute show, she and her band set every stage on fire. Let’s roll on the river in disco style!
